In the Belarus city of Grodno the organ festival Ars Organi Grodnensi took place from 6th to 12th July, 2015. The Russian organ player and musicologist Mikhail Mishchenko presented music by Gottfried von Einem in several concerts and is happy to report a “great success” and “crowded church concert halls”. An annual festival was demanded. Professor Mishchenko is an avid promoter of Gottfried von Einem’s music and has been supported by the Einem Foundation quite a few times.
