Success for the production of „Jesu Hochzeit“ at the Festival Carinthischer Sommer : „The Scandal of yore“ (Der „Skandal von dazumal“, Kleine Zeitung Klagenfurt 4. 8. 2016) was „restored grandiose and without any scandals („grandios und skandalfrei zurückgeholt“, Kronen Zeitung 8. 8. 2016); „Jesus‘ reespousal was a success“ („Jesu Wiedervermählung gelang“ ) was the title of Wilhelm Sinkovicz‘ review in the „Presse“ (8. 8. 2016); Kleine Zeitung Steiermark (8. 8. 2016) reported „Jubilation for the former agitator“ („Jubel für den Aufreger von einst“). Looking back at the Festival „Carinthischer Sommer“ 2016 Andrea Schurian in the „Standard“ (22. 8. 2016) called the digging up of Gottfried von Einem’s church opera the biggest merit of the new director Holger Bleck.
