An emphasis of this years’ programme of Altenburger Musikakademie is laid upon Gottfried von Einem, as von Einem died 20 years ago on 12th of July, 1996. In classes, concerts and a talk with Einem’s most prominent student, composer HK Gruber, von Einem will be celebrated in a special event on the day of his death.
